We are 10 adults and 3  childrens (7 to 9 years) planning to travel to Sikkim during starting of Oct`16. I want to cover the following places.

Silk Route - Reshi Khola, Zuluk, Nathang, Gangtok, Ravangla & Namchi.

I have a total of 7 nights 8 days. Please advice my trip accordingly

Can you also suggest if there are any 14 seaters temp traveller which we can hire for our stay in sikkim to be there with us?

I think you can easily hire a tempo traveler from Gangtok. your tour is taking you to east and west sikkim. you can first do Old silk route and then head to Nathang valley and finally Ravanga/Namchi.

We are planning to trip to East Sikim in Mid Oct. 2016 after the Puja. Our Route are as folows NJP>> GANGTOK (1N)>>TSONGMO/NATHULA/BABA MANDIR/KUPUP >> GNATHANG(1N) >> DZULUK (2N) >> RESHI (1N) via RONGLI >> SILLERIGAON (1) >> NJP.

Please suggest me that is this route are ok, and what will be the weather at that time, can we expect snow at that point zuluk and Gnathang? how abot the road condition to NATHULA and ZULUK.. ans also suggest me about Home stays and resorts.

Is there any breathing problem due to altitude sickness at Nathula? how to resolve this? we are total 07 No.s of head in a group with one 08 yrs. old girl chield.

Itinerary seems perfect. Chances of snow are not very high in October but possibilities are there. If you are just visit Nathula for 10-20 minutes then chances to get hit by AMS are not very high. as you are traveling through car and already spending night in Zuluk then I don't think altitude at Nathula would be a problem. Well, it also depends from person to person. I don't think tourists to Nathula worry too much about altitude. most of them do well.

Hi Atik,

I can help you your entire tour end to end. I will send an email, Please check and revert back. August is not bad time to visit Sikkim. Monsoon would be over by August and you should be able to see clear sky.

My schedule looks like this:

29 Mar - reaching Gangtok in the afternoon

30 Mar - Lachung

1 Apr - local sight seeing

2 Apr - Nathula Pass

3 Apr - back home

Also, will it be ok to carry our Aadhar card as our id proofs, one of us do not have a voter card at hand? regret  :(

Hi Karishma ,Yes you can carry aadhar card as ID proof, one should always carry ID proof while travelling,Take a photo of all of your government issued ID and save it on your smartphone is also a better option.

Hi Cheta,

Sorry for the late response. I hope you had great trip. Generally army check post before Nathula pass does not allow children (less than 5 year old) to go beyond. But all of you can easily travel to Changu lake which is equally mesmerizing.

It is strange to hear Aadhar card is not valid. Basically anything which can prove that you are an Indian citizen suffice the need for Inner line permit. Passport, Voter ID card and Aadhar card should be acceptable.
