Employed as a senior executive with a top ranking Fortune 500 govt. PSU and an alumnus of Lucknow University, An amateur photographer by hobby, Arun’s romance with photography started almost four years ago. What began as a hobby, photography for him soon transformed into a passion and has now transcended to an act of worship.

Arun’s photography traverses across a wide spectrum of genres. To name a few, he has clicked photographs of landscapes, architecture – both monumental and modern, the confluence of cultures like the Shree Ganesh Chaturthi, the Chhat Pooja, the Moharram, Diwali, Eid and Holi celebrations, wildlife – specially birds, city life and portraits et al. His perseverance saw him covering the Maha Kumbh in 2013 at Allahabad, the largest human congregation on the planet earth. Despite restrictions on vehicular movement inside the Kumbh Nagri, so passionate was he to cover this event that in two days he walked around 47 kilometers on foot to click various facets of the Maha Kumbh. While he has deftly used popular photographic styles, aerial and low light photography are his main forte.

Arun has won many awards and appreciations in the field of photography which besides being extremely competitive, also demands highest levels of diligence, patience, concentration, devotion and dogged determination.
